Back in 2017, I was visiting Paris. I had planned to go back to my birthplace again since then, but Covid-19 began.
I felt nostalgic about my last time in Paris, so I decided to go back and look at my old pictures.
This is where I found this picture of an old man alone, walking early in the morning on the paved street of Montmartre.
What I love about the pictures today is what we could think of this old man walking alone.
This picture is about five years old now and the fact that he was walking made him slightly out of focus. If you look closely, he almost looks like a ghost carrying a suitcase to who knows where.
Who knows what happened to these men within the past five years, especially during the pandemic.
Maybe that soon-to-be-ghost knew what was coming and decided to pick up his bags and go to a better place.
