The album is called “The Day After,” because following the killing of George Floyd, demonstrations erupted all over the county, including in Los Angeles. The demonstrations coincided with Covid confinement and people were already on the edge. On May 29, 2020, many demonstrations all over the US turned violent. Looting, fighting and fire all over the streets of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, a lot of people lost their businesses, and faith in the safety of our city. The silver lining is the day after, looking at the unfortunate results of one night of violence each, different communities united and cleaned the businesses and streets of Los Angeles.
